Congratulations for your pictures, but I am a little bit desappointed; I wish I saw Leo :( (if you could send me some) I came back from Camino end of October. It was a special human experience; and walking with Leo was nice too ;) he told me to send you greetings... Thierry & Leo

The peace of the Lord be with you. My name is Deacon Rogelio. My wife and I walked the Camino Frances in July of '03. Our main purpose was to complete it as a religious retreat prior to my ordination on the Feast of St. Luke in Oct. We hope to walk the Camino again some day- perhaps as soon as next year. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and pictures.

May God bless you. Deacon Rogelio

Safe travels friend.

Halo Peregrina I have walked the North and the Primitivo then three days on the Portuguesa this year. It is like a drug I started two years ago and walked the French Camino Last year the Vía del Plata and to Fisterra Mucia and back to Santiago. I love it and shall return some day. I have to leave a wife and family for two months at a time to calm the drug. The crazy thing is I am 65 years old and should know better. But I never seam to learn I always carry the heaviest pack 18 k and I’m not very big! I to have a web site http://www.westnet.net.au/maisiedavey/ourwebpage/Publish should you like to look. I live in Australia by the way! Peregrinomike

Annette,

You inspire me! I have been contemplating on the journey and I will do this by April 2005 after attending to work and personal demands. This will be my first ever hike and i will be 42 then.

I posted a message and Trev wants me to start from Sarria since I can only afford 2 weeks and 150Km. I am inexperienced hiker but very spiritual. Can also understand little Spanish.

Thank you and I hope I can be like you someday.

Thanks you sooo much for a wonderful literary and photographic experience. I was in tears in some parts, you shared your innermost thoughts and experiences with us. I am planning to do part of the Camino at the begining of Septmeber and am daunted by a mere 200-odd km's!!!! I totally respect all pilgrims who have completed their journey's - I am now very very tempted to start from the begining. Thanks once again. Cathy

What a great read written by a great person. I had often seen your postings on the Pilgrims forum and wondered what type of person you were like. Having just read your Camino diary, I think I now know you better. I begin my camino on april 17. I look forward to this experience and hope that this journey brings me as much joy as it did you. Hi Annette,

On this lazy Sunday morning I made my customary visit to the Camino forum to read the new postings. I saw your name and visited your website for the first time. Three hours later I finished your diary amidst a deep sense of warm nostalgia and inner joy.

You portray your experiences so fully and openly. No pretense, no sugar coating. Quite refreshing indeed.

Thanks so much for expending the significant effort necessary to share your wonderful thoughts with all of us .

Ron

Hi Annette.. I loved reading your diary. My husband Graham and left SJPP the same day as you and met you several times along the camino in 2003, but finished a few days later than you. It was great to relive our journey and read of others that we also met. Kay (New Zealand)
